Opening:
Another great Alumni and successful Alumni Dinner.  Thanks to all those who participated and came out!

Varsity Results:

  • Sat. Oct. 13 vs. Trent @ Home.  The boys put in a free scoring display with the game put to bed with a score of 6-0 at half time!  The final would be close to double digits with a 9-0 final as Carleton remains a “Trent Killa” (Stefan Karajovanovic x 3, Ricky Comba x 1, Jimi Aribido x 2, Kelly Lowry x1, Scott Mazzotta x1, Gabi Bitar x1).
  • Sun. Oct. 14 vs. UOIT @ Home.  Gabi Bitar opened the scoring in the 3rd minute of play to give Carleton a 1-0 lead.  Stefan added the second in the 51st minute with Gabi again getting on the score board in the 61st minute to end the game 3-0.

Another 6 point weekend as Carleton faces RMC and Queens at home this weekend.  The Ravens are now 12-1-1 and tied on points in first but with a better goal differential.  Carleton leads the conference with 51 goals, averaging 3.69 goals per game. They are the only team in the OUA to average over 3 goals per game.  Jimi Aribido leads the OUA’s in assists and our defence has the best goal against average.

Next up for Varsity
A big one Sunday for those who can make it out with Queens at home! Sunday October 21st – QUEENS AT HOME!!!  A rally call for as many alumni as possible to make it for this match!

Alumni Weekend & Dinner Recap:

Saturday October 13th:
– The day started off with a brisk Saturday afternoon and the Alumni in attendance for some pizza and beverages.  Young Christian Hoefler was a stomping machine at the tailgate as he begged for some violence.  Although the game lacked the competitive and combative nature it was made up for with plenty of goals!  A 9-0 smashing made it uncomfortable for the attending alumni to provide any comical commentary.  Shout out to the boys in the booth though for providing endless sound bites for those watching via OUA.tv

Our dinner hall opened for business with many thanks to those who set up and Hoefler Catering for the food.  Special thanks to our beautiful bartenders: Women’s Varsity Assistant Coach Gina & Women’s Soccer Alumni Katie Chinkiwsky.  The food was fantastic as usual and the atmosphere and banter was on point as everyone was able to catch up with many past teammates and Alumni brothers.
