PLAYOFF FOOTY IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Just wanted to share that our Raven Girls team also made play-offs this year with a 3rd place finish!  They play UofT this Wednesday (today) at Home 7:00pm Kick-off for anyone who wants to support. 
 
SUNDAY OCTOBER 28th – 3:15PM @ HOME.
– The boys earned themselves a bye past the first round and will face the winner of Nipissing vs. Queens this Sunday at home.  If we win –  we are off to the OUA Final Four next Friday/Saturday. 
– TAILGATE will be hosted this Sunday in full force!!!
– Pizza very likely depending on the # of confirmed alumni.
– Let’s get a Strong Showing of Alumni out for this Sunday’s game and give the away team a taste of HOME FIELD PLAYOFF RAVENS FOOTY!!!!!

Joe Leaflor Cup:
Gent’s given the recent play-off race and Game this Sunday we will be postponing the annual “Joe Leaflor” cup to the new year.  Similar to the Super Cup which will be played at a later date in 2019.  We will look to host the Joe Leaflor cup of Algonquin Alumni versus Carleton Alumni in the fieldhouse in late Jan/Feb.  Stay tuned!!

Wanted to share a Photo from last weekend’s game versus Queens: Mike Lanos, Sean Holmes & Gord Smith.  Most are familiar with Mike and Gordie but for those who do not know Sean Holmes, he played Carleton in the early 90’s and went on to be Head Coach of Drake University’s NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Program for 17 seasons.  He is now involved in a number of projects including coaching a high school team in the US.    Great to have him back at home briefly and happy he was able to catch a game!
