On behalf of the coaching staff and the players – I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity you’ve shown to the program this season. It has been an exciting season with many new faces; with the same goals to compete for Provincial and National titles. Although we missed out, if this year’s journey is an indication of our direction then we have much to look forward to as we forge ahead. The outpour of support and congratulations received from Alums all over was incredible. Whether it was before a big match or after a tough match, your words truly resonated with me. It’s honor to be given the opportunity to manage this program as one of you I know how much it can shape your place in life. I continue to instill the values and characteristics we are all familiar with. This group has responded well both on the field and in the classroom. Your presence at home and on the road shows we are cut from a different cloth. The players have recognized your efforts and fed off your energy all season.

There is no better feeling then crossing paths  and talking about the team, there is a sincere interest, and pride in which we speak which makes me proud to be a part of this program. Motivates me to do more and be better.  We have much to achieve as we move our program forward, but I am excited about the foundation in place; and with your continued support and generosity there is no ceiling.
Thank you,

Your Fellow Alumni

Men’s Soccer Program

We are writing to you with a call to action to our Raven Alumni brothers!
CHALLENGE:
Carleton University has deemed Tuesday, November 28th as Giving Tuesday and will provide over $200,000 in matching funds.
This is a great opportunity to raise funds for our nationally ranked Men’s Soccer program and reflect our commitment to supporting a first class program on the pitch.
On Giving Tuesday, each contribution up to $2000 will be matched. But there is a catch – the funds are on a first come first served basis, so we are asking any contributions to take place at 12:01 AM on Tuesday, November 28thor as early as possible on the 28th. Once the $200K from the University has been exhausted, no more matching funds will be available.
Last year Swimming was able to raise over $30K…swimming!!
THE ROLLOUT
Join the 82’ Club on Giving Tuesday by committing to a five year pledge of $100 a year to support the team’s fundraising priorities. The ’82 Club refers to the year the Ravens Soccer program returned to Varsity status and our goal is to have a minimum of ‘82 members in the ’82 Club within the next two years.
We currently have 11 supporters pledging a minimum of $100 for five years.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE:
1.  Visit the website: https://futurefunder.carleton.ca/project/82club/
2. Click “FUND THIS PROJECT”
3.  Select your type of pledge
4. Click “Donate”

IMPACT
This is our chance to raise funds for the team and have them matched dollar for dollar by the University. We are aiming to raise $10,000 a year for the next five years. This contribution from Alumni will help to support key areas for the soccer program. Your support will help our players be the best they can be on and off the field through tutoring and mentorship support.  Enhanced academic skills enable the players to better juggle the obligations of being a student-athlete. Future locker room enhancements will help ensure there is ample space in the room and will assist in recruiting future Ravens.

Best regards,
Your CSAA Executive.
